Today was such a good time! We had a bunch of our regulars stop in, met some new faces, and @teresa.pokes got a little taste of what Tru is all about 🕯️🪡🩸 Anyway, here's something cool I got to work on with @lifewithminaxi 💋 Thank you for welcoming my friends into your space and allowing us to fully collaborate on your placement lol 🙏🏽 You and your cousin were the best!
My time with Angelina today for her mini-styling was sooo much fun! She wasn’t totally sure what she wanted—just that she was open to gold tones, wanted four piercings, and was drawn to something with an arc shape. 👂🏼✨ Once we started looking through jewelry, it became very clear she 𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓵𝓵𝔂 loves 𝕥ꫀ᥊𝕥ꪊ𝕣ꫀ. The second she saw the sandblasted chrysoprase, she was hooked. I helped pull everything together with those small, but attention grabbing discs for her lobes and an arc in her flat that just flows with the shape of her ear. 🤤 Honestly, this is the kind of appointment I live for! 💕 I’m stoked with how it all came out, and I’m even more excited for what’s next—threaders, chains, and plenty more piercings to come.

This one was such a fun project! This cutie came in wanting paired nostrils, but after going over her anatomy and talking through her options, we landed on this setup instead — and I’m so glad we did! The more forward piercing was actually a pre-existing one she’d had for about 4 years but retired about a year ago. She’s hoping to wear hoops in both piercings later, so I made sure to space them out just right so they’ll look perfect when the time comes. Reopening the old piercing was a quick taper — just a little pressure and a couple of tears (totally normal!) — but the new piercing? She said it was basically painless! I’m really happy with the balance we created here, and she now has a setup that’ll give her tons of fun jewelry options, no matter the style or size she wants to play with in the future. I’m obsessed with how this turned out! Francesca popped in for some last-minute jewelry styling before heading to San Francisco, and we added the cutest charm to her modified industrial setup that @ozbri did last time—and I swear, it was the cherry on top! She’s a total piercing girlie and loves visiting other studios when she travels (same).
