First-Time Ear Piercings for Kids
Getting your child’s ears pierced is such a special moment! When done right, it’s more than just a milestone—it’s an opportunity to introduce body modification in a positive and empowering way. Through the ear-piercing process, kids learn to embrace new experiences while gaining valuable lessons about bodily autonomy, personal responsibility, and self-care—all in a safe, supportive environment.
We’re so excited to offer this service for children ages 3–14, and Vanessa is our go-to piercer for these appointments! In fact, piercing kids is so close to my heart because I finally got to pierce my own daughter in November, just before her 3rd birthday. It was such a special moment for us, and I love sharing that same experience with other families.
What to Expect
We know that the first piercing can feel like a big deal—for kids and parents alike—which is why we go out of our way to make it fun, calm, and stress-free.
Before the big day, we’ll have a required consultation at least 24 hours in advance. This consultation lasts about 20 minutes, giving us a chance to:

This consultation isn’t just about logistics—it’s about helping your child feel comfortable and ready.
On piercing day, we book up to two hours for the appointment to ensure there’s plenty of time for your little one to feel at ease. Some children may need extra time to relax before or during the process, and we want to make sure they don’t feel rushed. Your child can pick their favorite Netflix show or movie to watch during the procedure, and we’ll even have juice or candy on hand to make it feel like a celebration.
Our approach is always tailored to your child’s personality. Some kids love jumping right in, while others need a little extra reassurance. Whatever they need, we’re here to make sure they’re in control of the process. That means if your child decides they’re not ready or only wants one ear pierced, that’s absolutely okay. We’ll always respect their bodily autonomy.
For families who prefer a tandem piercing experience (where two piercers perform both ears at the same time), this service is available for kids ages 10 and up and must be booked in advance. Tandem piercings minimize anxiety by getting both ears done at once, making it a faster and smoother process. The price for tandem piercings is $150 and requires a consultation. Please note that Bridge does not pierce minors under 10.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind
Only parents or guardians are allowed in the piercing room. Siblings or friends can make the process more stressful for your child, so we ask that they stay at home.
Children under 18 are not allowed in the studio unless they’re being pierced.
Piercings are by appointment only.
Required Documentation:
ID Requirements for Kids & Teens (Ages 3-17)
For Kids Ages 3-12:
Original birth certificate (required for all appointments).
No additional ID is required.
For Teens Ages 13-17:
Original birth certificate (required for all appointments).
A state-issued photo ID, school ID, or passport for the minor.
For Parents/Guardians:
Government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, or passport).
For Legal Guardians:
Legal documents proving guardianship, plus the IDs listed above.

These are required by law—no exceptions, sorry!
Pricing
Pricing starts at $210, which includes:
Two piercing procedures
Two titanium flat-back studs with simple bead ends
We also offer upgraded jewelry options:
Bezel-set CZs (recommended): $230
Prong-set CZs: $240
Gold options: Start at $65 per piece, but pricing may vary depending on availability.
