Hi, I'm Vanessa!
I've been piercing since 2012, and somewhere along the way I realized my favorite part of the job isn't actually the piercing. It's helping people figure out what feels like them. Sometimes that's exactly what they came in for. Sometimes it's something they hadn't even considered yet.
Jewelry has been an obsession of mine for as long as I can remember. My Nana used to call me her "Christmas Tree" because I never met a piece of jewelry I didn't want to wear. Honestly... not much has changed.
These days I'm happiest building long term projects, mixing textures, pops of color, and jewelry that feels like it belongs exactly where it is.
Outside the studio, I'm a mom, a horror movie junkie (French horror has my heart), a pop music girl through and through, and I love spending time with my partners and the people who make life feel full.
If you end up in my chair, expect honest recommendations, a little laughter, and probably way too much excitement over tiny shiny things.

I've been piercing for about eight years, and while I originally thought I'd end up becoming an engineer, life had other plans. I found piercing instead and quickly realized this was exactly where I was meant to be.
I love creating balanced ear projects and helping clients find jewelry that feels effortless to wear. My approach is pretty straightforward. I'll listen to what you're looking for, walk you through my recommendations, and help you put together something you'll be excited to wear every day.
One of my favorite parts of working at Tru is getting to collaborate with Vanessa. We bounce ideas off each other all day, and I love having another set of eyes when we're building bigger projects. There's something really fun about putting our heads together to create something special.
Outside the studio, you'll usually find me spending time with my three kids and the rest of my family. Give me a michelada, some ceviche, a good couch day, and a throwback R&B playlist, and I'm pretty much set.
